FAQs
What is the experience level of your coaches?
Our head coach, Coach Low, has a wealth of experience. Between playing D1 rugby on the west coast, being a member of a US Army combat arms unit, and studying both nursing and kinesiology, training the human body to meet real-life demands is his bread and butter.
How do I become an Aped Athlete?
The training process begins with an initial consultation to assess your current fitness level and discuss your goals. From there, we'll develop a customized training program within one of our three tracks that is tailored to your specific needs and designed to help you reach your goals. Training sessions are typically one-on-one, but we also offer small group training options.
How does online training work?
Custom workouts will be uploaded in your app each week. Included will be specific coaching points from Coach Low for you, either in writing or over video. You will record the results of your workouts each session and receive quick feedback that day. Each week you will have a chalk talk with Coach where you will be able to discuss your training, nutrition, lifestyle, and questions.
How long are the training sessions?
Training session lengths vary by goals, but generally are either 60 or 90 minutes a session 3-5 times a week.
Do you offer nutrition coaching?
Yes, we offer nutrition coaching! Training hard without any fuel is a recipe for disaster. We will work with you to teach you to develop a healthy and sustainable eating plan that supports your training goals. If you’d like, we offer meal prep delivery through IKON meals- high quality, simple, and cheaper through us than if you were to purchase a meal prep service yourself.
